Susie See, Electrical Engineer and Executive Vice President of the San Francisco branch of engineering firm Flack & Kurtz says, "The lighting design needed to be dynamic, meaning in the day time there is a certain scene and then at night some fixtures turn off and others turn on. There is also an operational functionality, where there is a need for certain lights to be on, like the design lighting for the front facade during retail shopping hours. The need for the lighting control system to be dynamic required something configurable and robust enough that could turn on and turn off different lighting circuits automatically based on a program. Square D achieved just that."
