Why Whole House Lighting Control?
Whole house lighting control allows the homeowner to control lighting though out the home.  Depending on the features desired, these systems can be expanded to include Drapes/Shutters, Landscape Lighting, Security Lights and more.

Convenience
One-touch control of house lighting makes it easier to manage lighting through out the house from pathway lighting to the garage, to the master bedroom, or for entertaining  - all with the a push of a button.

Security
With whole house lighting, “Panic” buttons at each whole-house keypad allow the home owner to ward off intruders by turning house and security lighting on. Exterior lighting can be set to flash mode to direct emergency help to the residence. Light the way to dark home via a key fob or phone interface. Time clock control can be set to turn on interior lighting when the home owner is away to make to home to appear to be occupied.

Energy/Cost Savings
Landscape lighting can be turned on and off based on time of day allowing the home owner to automate exterior lighting and insure that lighting is turned off when not needed thus saving energy. Whole house OFF buttons can be programmed to turn off lighting when leaving the home. Lamp life is extended based on the dimmed level reducing the need for expensive re-lamping.

Integration
The Square D^® Clipsal^® Lighting Control System can be integrated with the HVAC, Security, Pool System, Fountain Motors, Shades, Audio/Video and Phone System to provide control from a common Touch Screen or Keypad.

Aesthetics
Because the dimmers and relays are located in the electrical room the need for large multi-gang switch plates is eliminated freeing up wall space. Control of the lighting is achieved through the touch screen or keypad located at each entry point or control point. The lighting control system can be programmed to accent artwork or room furnishing creating the lighting environment desired.
