Our training programs are designed to immerse the student into an environment that stimulates discussion and full realization of their creative abilities. Students completing a course will not only understand the product fundamentals but also how to select, install, commission and sell the unique value of the system. Each instructor led class is intentionally limited in size so the instructor can fully engage each student.
Read below to view our courses, class descriptions, training schedule and details on how to register.

Please note that you MUST take the Clipsal C-Bus Tutorial first before taking any other Clipsal training course.
Training Courses

Clipsal
- Online Introductory C-Bus Network Tutorial - This web-based tutorial provides an overview of the Clipsal C-Bus network. Students will learn how the C-Bus network operates, how to wire and terminate C-Bus cables, and how to properly size the C-Bus network power supply. This course serves as a prerequisite for all instructor led classes.
- Clipsal Basic - Instructor led class introduces the student to the fundamentals of lighting control. By completing a series of design projects, the student will learn how to layout a Clipsal system, selecting the proper components, and program a basic system using C-Bus tool kit & C-Bus PICED software.
- Clipsal Intermediate - Instructor led class builds upon the fundamentals introduced in the Clipsal Basic course by introducing DLT keypads, monochrome touch screens, Multi sensors, and the network bridge all while enhancing competencies on the C-Bus network.
- Clipsal Advanced - Instructor led class focuses on the Clipsal logic engine and color touch screen.
Powerlink Training
- Powerlink® Training - Powerlink Training is used to familiarize individuals with wiring of systems and commissioning of hardware and software
How to Register For A Course
- LOG IN with your student number. If you do not have a student number, please click here. If you have forgotten your number, please click here.
- Click on the course name you are interested in to get course details and to see the training schedule for that course.
- Click the REGISTER link that appears in the far right column on the same row as the date you wish to take the course. Note: for Clipsal instructor led classes you may need to complete certain prerequisite courses. The REGISTER tab will not appear if required courses have not been completed. Instead, you will see a link to the prerequisite course you have not taken.
- Complete all information required on the registration page and click the Complete Registration button.
- A confirmation of your registration along with a receipt for credit card purchases will be sent to the e-mail account indicated in your student profile within 48-hours.
