Q: Where can I find directions and logistics information for classes?

A: We post logistics information for several of our most common traing sites on this website. You can find information for LaVergne, TN HERE. Palatine, IL information is HERE. Orlando, FL information can be found HERE.


Q: How do I open a new student account?

A: Click on the link that says "New Student Account", located on the left side of the home page. This will redirect you to the Student Account Registration page. Once you finish entering your information into the required fields, click on the submit button. You will be redirected to a new window, thanking you for your registration and telling you your assigned student identification number. This information will also be sent to you electronically at the email address you provided for your student account.

Q: Where can I find the 2009 training schedule?

A: A partial list of scheduled class dates for all upcoming courses appears on the Training homepage. To see a full course listing you must already have a student account and in log in identification number. When you log in, you are automatically taken to the Lighting Control Training- Choose Course page. You can select a course from the dropdown list and it will take you to a page with a full course schedule and class specific information for the year. That page includes you to further refine your listing to specific time periods or locations. There is also a dropdown box to select a different course.

Q: How do I register for a class?

A: You can register for a class by following the 3 steps laid out on the website. Step 1 is to register for a new a student account. This will provide you with the student identification number you need to log in and view the class schedule. Step 2 is to select the course you are interested in from the dropdown box. This will take you to a full listing of scheduled course dates. Step 3 is view the course listing and clicking on the Register link in the right-hand margin of the page.

Q: How do I submit my payment information (US Customers only)?

A: If registering via our website, you can securely provide your credit card information in the indicated fields, or you can provide us with your purchase order number and the name of your distributor (i.e. Graybar PO# 123456) in the PO number field. Please have your distributor send us a copy of the purchase order. You can also submit your payment information on the enrollment form or if registering over the phone. If paying by company check, please give us the check # in the PO field instead, and fax a copy of your check to 615-280-3801 before mailing, to expedite the guarantee of your seat in class. Q: How can I tell if my registration for a course has gone through?

A: You will receive an electronic confirmation at the email address associated with your student account. Your confirmation will say that your registration has been received but your seat is not guaranteed until your form of payment has been received. If you provided your credit card information during the course registration process, this will not pertain to you, and you may disregard. Otherwise, please be sure to follow up with the necessary documentation required of PO and company check payments, before the start date of your scheduled class.

Q: I am an international customer that would like to attend training. How do I register and submit payment information?

A: If you are an international customer, please call us directly at 615-287-3418, and we will work with you personally regarding your arrangements for training.

Q: I am a Schneider Electric / Square D Company internal employee. What is my procedure for registering for a training class?

A: The same student account registration and class enrollment process applies to internal employees. When you open your student account, be sure to check the box indicating that you are a Schneider employee, and to submit your cost center information where requested.
